Our Payment Policy
“A pro forma invoice is a document that states a commitment on the part of the seller to deliver the products or services as notified to the buyer for a specific price.”
Once we have conducted a site survey of your glass or a self-measure you will be issued with your proforma invoice; it will include a link to make a secure online payment.
You will receive an instant notification from our accounting software that payment is complete. We get an instant notification that payment is made and can process your order immediately.
The office will then be in touch to give you a date of installation. This will be in 5 to 7 working days as this is how long it takes for the glass to be manufactured.
For all our call-out services that do not require a site survey to measure, our pre-payment policy is compulsory. This includes cutting through UPVc or timber, swapping glass to UPVC panel and swapping a cat flap over. Lead times on these services vary depending on when we are next in your area.
When supplying the cat flap, like all retailers, whether it be in store or online, payment would be made at checkout.
Glass is bespoke and individual to your frame and cannot be resold; glass with a vent hole is not an ‘off the shelf’ product and will be custom made in the factory.
Glass merchants never manufacture goods without receiving payment first; this has been their policy for generations to protect them from miss measures, nonpayment and clients simply changing their minds.
We take full responsibility for any miss measurements; we are fully responsible for any glass breakages during transport and fitting.

This also gives you the flexibility to make your payment out of office hours – no more calling through to the office and being kept on hold. We get an instant notification that payment is made and can process your order immediately.
Our online payment method gives greater peace of mind; you and our fitters need not carry large sums of cash that could be a security concern. Therefore, we do not accept cash payments. We are VAT registered and comply with all UK tax legislation.
By reducing telephone payments and eliminating cash payments, it speeds up the fitting process as there is no more waiting on hold or missed calls.
